2023 AMMA Conference will be held at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre
21 Mounts Bay Road, Perth, Western Australia
Travel time between the Perth Airport and the Conference Venue is approximately 20 minutes by car and approximately 1 hour by public transport.
Transferring between the airport terminals:
There are two terminal precincts at Perth Airport that are separated by a short 15-minute drive : the T1/T2 precinct and the T3/T4 precinct. If you need to transfer between T1/T2 and T3/T4, taxi and rideshare services are available on the respective terminal forecourts.

Depart from T1/T2 Terminal with various stops
Bus Route 37 operates between Airport Central and Oats Street Station via Belmont Forum 7 days a week.
Disembark at Belmont Forum and transfer on other bus route.
Airport Line from T1/T2
The Airport Line is only a short 4-minute walk from the terminal. Take the Claremont Stn Line and transfer at City West Station for another bus route.
Depart from T3/T4 Terminal with various stops
Bus Route 940 at Fauntleroy Av after Dunreath Dr, which is an 8-minute walk from T3/T4. Disembark at Elizabeth Quay. The conference venue is only 5-minute walk from the station.
Airport Line from T3/T4
A 14-minute walk to the Redcliffe Station and take the Airport Line Perth Stn . Transfer at Perth Station for another bus/train route.

Rideshare
DiDi, Ola and Uber ridesharing services are available at Perth Airport. Please click here for further information, including the location of the rideshare pick-up bay.
Taxis
The main taxi service providers in Perth are Black & White Cabs and Swan Taxis.
The City of Perth owns and operates the Convention Centre Car Park at the PCEC through its business unit City of Perth Parking (CPP). The carpark is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week except for maintenance and servicing. Fully trained customer service staff are in attendance.

During the conference
In the lead-up to the conference, edits will be made to the program. See the latest version of the program on the website and Conference App. Any changes to the conference program during the conference will be announced during housekeeping notices each morning. You may also check with Leishman Associates staff at the registration desk.
Do not leave laptops, cameras, and other valuable items unsecured. Be conscious of individuals who appear out of place and do not wear a conference name badge. Advise Leishman Associates staff if this does not occur.
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is recommended that participants take out their own general travel insurance. It is suggested that the insurance policy should also cover loss of fees/deposit, airfares, accommodation charges, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property and repatriation expenses. The insurance should cover loss arising from the cancellation of the conference by the organisers or a person’s inability to attend due to any reason whatsoever. No responsibility is taken by the conference managers for any person not holding insurance.
Various components of this event are being handled by Leishman Associates, a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO). PLEASE NOTE: The internet is not to be used to view or download any illicit material, including movies, music etc.
Conference participants violating the Anti-Harassment Policy may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers.
If you experience any bad behaviour and/or you feel uncomfortable or unsafe during the conference, please contact the Conference Organisers.
Speakers, Chairpersons, or Poster Presenters
All presentations need to be 16:9 in ratio.

All poster authors are requested to prepare their posters in an A0 format. Please prepare your poster in PORTRAIT FORMAT. We will be using display boards that will require velcro dots. We will have a limited supply on site.
Posters will be on display at the conference from 13 October 2023 through till 14 October 2023. Presenters need to bring their printed poster in portrait orientation, up to A0 size to the registration desk where they will be directed to their allocated poster board. Presenters need to adhere the poster to the poster board by morning teatime on 13 October 2023 and retrieve their poster after the last session on 14 October 2023. Uncollected posters will be disposed of.
I am not receiving events emails
Sometimes emails don’t get through firewall settings. To overcome this issue, please whitelist ariana@laevents.com.au and kan@laevents.com.au if you find you are not receiving conference correspondence.
Accommodation
The hotel will request payment on check out. If you have arrived 24 hours later than your indicated arrival day, you may find that you have forfeited your deposit.
If you will not be paying with your own credit card, and need to arrange payment before you arrive, the best way is via a credit card authorisation form enabling the hotel to process a third-party card. To do so, please contact the relevant hotel.
